She initially qualified and practised as a lawyer for many years, but later decided to change her career path to focus on her passions of diet, health and wellbeing.
After spending four years studying with the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, Andy is now a registered nutritional therapy practitioner. She is also a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Andy has also gained accreditation with the Institute for Functional Medicine and, in February 2017, qualified from a professional plant-based cookery course with Rouxbe. Andy has developed specialist areas in gut-psychology and gut-physiology syndromes.
Her deep understanding and committed passion for nutritional therapy has proven an invaluable tool, not only in addressing and managing her daughter’s autistic spectrum disorder symptoms, but also in optimising her own health after her cancer diagnosis. This knowledge and expertise has been crucial in assisting her clients with similar health issues.
Andy is available for one-to-one consultations in which she can talk through your health and wellbeing on a personal level, and give tailored nutritional advice and support.

Nutritional therapy focuses on preventing ill-health and promoting optimal health through nutrition, exercise and stress management, using a wide variety of tools, including the latest laboratory testing, if appropriate. It recognises that every client is unique with his or her own set of dietary and other requirements.
Because nutritional therapy is a complementary medicine, registered nutritional therapy practitioners often work together with a client’s medical professionals. They will always refer a client back to his/her medical professional with symptoms that may require further investigation, explaining any nutritional therapy recommendations, where necessary.
She believes balancing blood sugar levels through nutrition has been key to managing and addressing her daughter’s autistic spectrum disorder symptoms, in addition to optimising her own health after her cancer diagnosis. Eliminating refined sugars is integral to everything Andy does.
